The role

As a Technical BA, you will be working with a multi-disciplinary project team through all aspects of the software development lifecycle starting from design, through implementation and onto delivery, and ensuring that technical constraints and considerations are documented and communicated in a timely manner.

You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, develop a deep understanding of the product, facilitate workshops and interviews and make your mark as a subject matter expert, ensuring a smooth delivery of product strategy and the Cox Automotive Australia’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

· Work closely with the Solution Manager [IM1]to translate high level product initiatives into detailed product requirements.

· Facilitate workshops and interviews to elicit requirements and document current application functionality.

· Prepare technical architecture and system configuration documents and diagrams.

· Analyse proposed solutions for issues, risks and benefits, and their impact on CAA.

· Simplify complex information to be easily understood by the business.

· Work with the Solution Manager, UX UI Designers, and Software Engineering teams to capture product and application requirements.

· Complete modelling of application and business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.

· Become the subject matter expert for all assigned products applying technical business analysis frameworks to achieve the best outcomes.

Skills & Experience:

· Tertiary qualification in an IT field including project management or business analysis would be advantageous.

· Sound understanding of software development and software technology practices is essential.

· Experience with the software development lifecycle and Agile methodology.

· Exemplary communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Highly creative with strong focus on analytical and pragmatic decision making.

· Ability to document tasks for software systems using project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
